Juan Luis Bermúdez Madriz is the Executive President of the Instituto Mixto de Ayuda Social and Minister of Human Development and Social Inclusion.
Master in Development Economics with a focus in Macroeconomic Management and Public Policies, Bachelor in International Relations with a focus in Administration and Management of International Cooperation, both at the National University of Costa Rica.
During the previous years, he served as coordinator of the advisory team of the President of the Republic and previously as Executive President of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund. In addition, he has served as Technical Secretary of the Social Council of the Government and National Coordinator of the Millennium Development Goals, President of the Board of Directors of the National Commission of Loans for Education - CONAPE.
