Countries are adopting the wellbeing approach as the basis for state budgeting and agenda-setting to achieve sustainable development. What is the expected impact, and how can more countries be supported in adopting this approach? Objective: To articulate how a change to a well-being economy approach can advance achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and greater health equity. To report practical ways of achieiving a well-being economy, underlining the importance of strong political leadership.
